Blueberry Jam

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture comes to a boil.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes or until the jam thickens, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

  5. Transfer the jam into sterilized jars and let them cool completely before sealing.
